Our client Buzz (Mike) from House of Travel Hobsonville always likes to stand out and try new things. The passion he has for his business and community around his travel agency is infectious. 

We have felt the pain all our House of Travel owners have endured over the last 12 months and their tenacious positivity to hang in there and wait knowing the golden gates of international borders will have to open again. 

Buzz had a concept in mind to produce a guide in a printed magazine format for the local community and rallied local business owners for advertising support around his idea to create a bespoke content lead magazine. He came to us with his vision and together we came up with a plan. Pumpt developed the mast head and design of the publication through to its printed glory! 

The Hobsonville Post is in essence ‘Your local community guide’ full of everything you would want to know about where you live which is why we strengthened the masthead with the by-line ‘Our place – Your guide’. Full of local content about the area, amazing discount vouchers to support local, a business directory and a fantastic ‘where to eat’ section with helpful QR codes to take you straight to the café or restaurant menus to tantilise your taste buds.

This magazine was crafted to be a handy format as an A5 you can keep at home and use frequently as your definitive guide to supporting local …. well until the next issue comes out…. exciting times ahead for the Hobsonville Post! 

It was really important to Buzz to connect with his community as we said and as the Editor he wanted to get in front of people. So this Easter he became his own empire of getting this publication out through the letterbox distribution media channel and delivered a mighty impressive 3000 copies to locals over the weekend. Feedback so far is brilliant!

Now today we keep our fingers crossed for the 4pm announcement on the bubble for all our House of Travel clients.
